Showcasing your holiday let on social media

What was the focus of your last Facebook and Instagram post?

The beautiful living space at Magnolia House, Swanage in Dorset (sleeps 8-10, 5 minute walk from the beach, huge enclosed garden, dog friendly)

Was it an event? A restaurant? A beautiful bunch of flowers you’ve prepared or maybe the hamper? Those are all great, but it’s critical to remember that what guests are really looking for is your accommodation.

Regularly share clear whole-room images of each key space and make it clear what is on offer:

1.        What’s the bedroom and bed configuration?

2.        Where are the social spaces and how can they be used?

3.        What outside space is available?

4.        How will the kitchen work for guests? What facilities are there?

5.        How many bathrooms? What are they like? Is there a bath or a walk in shower, perhaps?

How about using those five prompts for one post a week over the next five weeks?

What next?

If this has blog post has left you feeling motivated and inspired, my Photography & Staging Guide is the perfect next step for you. It walks you through how to present your space with confidence, so that the images you share online truly reflects the experience you offer, resulting in more bookings and happier guests.
