The data we collect

Depending on how you interact with me, I may collect:

  • Contact details: business name, email address, phone number, postal address

  • Booking details: payment confirmations

  • Coaching/mentoring information: notes relevant to sessions and your goals

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, cookies, tracking pixels (see below)

  • Marketing preferences: your choices about receiving updates from me

I do not collect sensitive personal data (e.g. health, ethnicity, religion) unless you choose to share it with me for service reasons (e.g. accessibility needs to support me in coaching you).

  • To provide coaching and mentoring sessions and keep session notes where relevant

  • To communicate with you, including responding to enquiries and sending booking confirmations

  • To understand how people use our website and improve our marketing (see Tracking & Cookies below)

  • Legitimate interests to run my business effectively and improve services

How I store and protect your data

I am committed to protecting your privacy and honouring your legal rights to control how I use your personal data. I only collect and use personal data when I need to.

I have put in place security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.

  • Your data is stored securely on password-protected systems.

  • I only keep personal data as long as necessary for the purposes I collected it for (e.g. 6 years for tax records).

  • I take appropriate ‘technical and organisational measures’ to prevent loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.

  • I also try to make sure the information I hold is accurate, up-to-date and is no more than I need to have.

Sharing your data

I do not sell your information, but I may share your data with:

  • Service providers (e.g. booking platforms, payment processors, email providers, website/advertising platforms)

  • Professionals (e.g. Accountants, Legal Advisers, Virtual Assistants, IT support, Web Designers, and more)

  • Authorities if required by law

All third parties are required to respect your data and use it only for agreed purposes. They will only access/process your personal data on my instruction, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality. I have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and I will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach when I am legally required to do so.

Cookies, tracking & website use

My website uses cookies and tracking technologies to help me understand how people use my site and to improve my marketing. This includes the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which reports information back to my Facebook page so I can measure and improve the effectiveness of my advertising.

  • These tools may collect information such as your IP address, pages visited, and actions taken on my website.

  • This data may be used to show you relevant adverts on Facebook or Instagram.

  • Where required, I will ask for your consent before placing these tracking technologies on your device.

  • You can manage or disable cookies and tracking pixels through your browser settings or Facebook’s ad preferences.

  • Request corrections to inaccurate data

  • Ask me to delete your data (in certain circumstances)
