Pinned post

Here’s an example pinned post and a link (the orange button) to a video tutorial about how to pin a post to your ‘featured’ section.

About section

Here is an example with annotations to explain the choices made.

Page name

Approach this with caution - it can only be changed every 90 days.

Editing your pathname to something nice and neat can make it more memorable and also make for easy link dropping. When you’re tagging your page, you can use @ (eg @kaygibbscoach) and, if it turns blue, it is a hyperlink and can lead straight back to your page. If that doesn’t work, you can use the full address eg www.facebook.com/kaygibbscoach. Just pop the username you’ve chosen after the www.facebook.com/ bit.

Watch the how to video by clicking the orange button.

Cover images

These examples were made on Canva. Click the link in orange to see a Canva template you can use to create a cover picture if you’d like to. Copy the file to your own files. Simply find one of the blank template pages and replace the images with your own.

Remember the bottom left chunk won’t be seen on a mobile (where most users are); that’s why my text on the example is balanced to the right.

NB: This is not the time to experiment with Canva if you aren’t familiar with it (you have plenty of other work to do!) - a simple beautiful image of your property or a special feature makes a good cover image too.
